Integrated Subsea & Underwater Engineering
Our subsea division executes complex underwater intervention, inspection, and maintenance scopes. We integrate advanced marine robotics with specialized commercial diving, supported by rigorous safety protocols and technical manuals to ensure safe execution in challenging environments.
Core Capabilities
- Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance (IRM): Routine and emergency structural inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and maintenance of offshore platforms, subsea pipelines, wellheads, and mooring systems.
- Subsea Inspection & Engineering (SIE) Department: A dedicated internal division comprising experienced management alongside a comprehensive roster of Project Engineers, Field Engineers, and skilled inspection personnel. We deploy a flexible workforce of qualified in-house staff and freelance professionals to manage project lifecycles, execute structural assessments, deliver technical reporting, and ensure rigorous quality assurance.
- Subsea (Diving and ROV) Department: A specialized division overseeing the safe execution of all underwater interventions. The department manages detailed planning of diving and ROV tasks, conducts comprehensive risk assessments, ensures strict regulatory compliance for both technical diving and life support systems, and maintains rigorous competency tracking of all deployed personnel.
- Targeted Underwater Execution: Integrated diving, ROV, inspection, repair and maintenance scopes delivered through competent personnel, approved procedures, and fit-for-purpose subsea systems.
Integrated Offshore Marine Services
Alam Maritim operates and manages specialized marine vessels dedicated to the subsea inspection, engineering, and offshore construction sectors. Our fleet strategy is focused on providing highly capable, dynamically positioned vessels that serve as the primary base for complex underwater interventions and structural installations.
Core Capabilities
- Specialized Vessel Deployment & Chartering: Provision of purpose-built Dive Support Vessels (DSVs) equipped to execute simultaneous saturation diving, air diving, and ROV activities. We also deploy Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs) specifically configured to support offshore construction and subsea infrastructure projects.
- Construction & Intervention Support: Supplying stable, high-specification vessels capable of facilitating structural installations, pipeline tie-ins, and heavy-lift subsea projects in challenging offshore environments.
- IRM Campaign Platforms: Utilizing dedicated vessels optimized for long-term Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance (IRM) campaigns. Our fleet provides the necessary deck space, subsea crane capacity, and station-keeping reliability required for continuous underwater execution.
- Comprehensive Vessel Management: Full-lifecycle technical and commercial management of our proprietary fleet, alongside specialized third-party ship management services.
- Technical Maintenance: Execution of Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), dry-docking schedules, and critical equipment overhauls and retrofits.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adherence to international maritime regulations including ISM, ISPS and MLC codes, and compliance with OVID and OVMSA requirements.
- Fleet Optimization: Crewing, safety management systems, and vessel performance monitoring to maximize uptime and project readiness.
Offshore Facilities Installation & Construction
Alam Maritim executes comprehensive subsea related construction projects. We manage the project lifecycle from initial engineering and analysis through to final execution, working closely with our clients and strategic partners to deliver complex offshore scopes.
Core Capabilities
- Engineering and Analysis: Delivery of rigorous technical engineering, installation analysis, and detailed project planning to support complex subsea construction operations.
- Riser and Spool Installations: Precision engineering, fabrication, and offshore installation of subsea risers, tie-in spools, and related pipeline infrastructure. We manage the complete scope including metrology, lifting operations, flanged or welded connections, and hydro-testing.
